Our loose-leaf New Moon Tea aims for pain relief with soothing & cramp reducing herbs, all while providing hormonal balance during week 1 of your cycle-the menstrual phase; your "inner winter"!

Your 28 day menstrual cycle starts on day 1 of the menstrual phase, which typically lasts around 3-7 days. Your BBT drops to its lowest, along with your energy, libido, & mood. The hormones estrogen, serotonin, and testosterone continue declining as progesterone plunges, signaling to your body there is no pregnancy. Your uterine lining (endometrium) sheds as your bleed arrives.

Ingredients: Red Raspberry Rubus idaeus leaf, Stinging Nettle Urtica dioica leaf, Motherwort Leonurus cardiaca herb, Chaste-tree Vitex agnus-castus berry, Hibiscus Hibiscus sabdariffa, Ginger Zingiber officinale root, Yarrow Achillea millefollium flowers

  • Red Raspberry: a uterine & pelvic relaxant due to the constituent fragine; the leaf has analgesic properties to aid menstrual pain while reducing excessive menstrual flow
  • Nettle: known as a nutritional powerhouse, includes vitamins & minerals (like iron & manganese) that get depleted as we bleed; lowers inflammation
  • Motherwort: an antispasmodic uterine stimulant that aids in menstrual cramps by increasing blood flow to the pelvis & reducing muscle spasms
  • Vitex Berries: helps balance the ratio of estrogen to progesterone; reduces hormonal acne formation & aids In reducing uterine fibroids
  • Hibiscus: the analgesic & smooth relaxant properties help to relieve menstrual cramps 
  • Ginger: anti-inflammatory, analgesic, & antiemetic; helping to reduce menstrual pain, PMS, bloating, & nausea 
  • Yarrow: aids irregular menstruation; calms inflammation associated w/ menstrual cramps while alleviating intensity of pain & reducing a heavy flow

Directions: Steep 1 Tbsp of tea blend in 1 cup of boiling water; add honey or blackstrap molasses to sweeten. Make 2-3x/day for best results**

Blackstrap molasses contains minerals that are lost while bleeding (zinc, iron, magnesium..), so adding it in can help to replenish these while being a natural sweetener*
